Daphenie Joseph

​

Daphenie Joseph is a multidisciplinary artist with dual bachelor’s degrees in Studio Art and Media Studies from the University of Virginia. During her undergraduate years, she worked extensively with installation, video, and graphic design, often centering themes of familial identity and cultural reconciliation. Her digital work includes projects created for various student organizations at UVA, with a strong focus on cultural identity and inclusion.

Now based in Roanoke, Virginia, she works as a graphic designer while preparing to pursue a Master’s in Art Direction. While continuing to explore themes of culture and family, she is also expanding her practice by integrating new areas of interest that further inform her creative approach.
